Many of you have asked which paper I use to print my printables. So, here’s my go-to list of paper types and what I use each for!

Printer Paper

For everyday printables and my planners, I normally choose a bright white paper (28 – 32 lb). Lately, I’ve been using this laser paper which is incredibly smooth and has very little to no ghosting on the other side. This is perfect if you like to use pens/markers that are prone to bleeding through to the other side.

Card Stock

If you are printing a binder cover that you want to be fade-resistant and last a long time I would recommend using Epson Presentation Paper. It’s heavy like cardstock (48 lb), is great when laminated and is made to last for decades.

I really love the presentation paper and use it to print journaling cards and images for my scrapbooks and Project Life albums.

Photo Paper

When I’m printing photos at home I like the quality of the Canon Photo Paper. They print in vivid colors with a high-quality finish. It’s available in all different sizes with either a glossy or matte finish.

Printing Tip: To ensure you get the best quality prints on any paper, be sure to change your printer settings to match the type of paper you are using.
