I like to give the dish a small spray of Pam so the Corn Bake doesn’t stick. Plus, you won’t have to scrub so much when you wash the dishes later. That’s always a bonus in my book since I don’t have a dishwasher.

You can really use any dish you want, of course, just make sure it’s oven safe and don’t fill the dish more than half way so there’s room for it to rise as it cooks. Also, if it’s too thick, it won’t bake evenly and you’ll end up with an overcooked outside and a raw inside.

I divided this batch up between 2 smaller dishes so my daughter would have her own to bring home after dinner.

Bake for 40-45 minutes or until it is solid in the center. Sprinkle some french friend onions on top and put back in the oven for an additional 5 minutes to crisp up the onions.

That’s it. Enjoy!
