One of my favorite layouts in my bullet journal is my gratitude log. I know that I’m calmer and more centered since I started recording these little things that I am grateful for everyday and its been such a help to me that I wanted to give you one too!
Sometimes its easy to get caught up in our everyday lives and forget the good things. A gratitude journal helps you focus less on the negative things in your life and more on the the things that bring you happiness. I consider myself a “glass half full” kinda girl but this was pretty hard at first and I had to look for the things I was grateful for everyday. Now, they seem so obvious to me that I wish there was room to write a couple more everyday.
This is my April gratitude log in my bullet journal, I was very careful with the handwriting on this one and used a pencil first to make sure I got it just right before using a marker. My hands can be super shaky sometimes and it’s hard to get straight lines, but this came out pretty good…if I do say so myself 😉
So, do you think you would like to add a gratitude log to your planner? I love having it with my calendar & daily to-do lists and it’s even better that I don’t have to carry an extra notebook with me just for that reason.
This printable is almost identical to my bullet journal layout except it’s a little larger. There are 31 rows enabling you to use it for any month, all you have to do is to add it to your daily planner and get started.
So many of you have mentioned that you love the idea of bullet journaling but don’t have the time or aren’t creative enough…no more excuses ladies! You can get the gratitude log in the image above for free by joining the Krafty Owl family at the bottom of this post or you can get a complete Gratitude Journal that will span the entire year. It even has this pretty cover page!
This Gratitude Journal is available in my Etsy shop, Maria’s Krafty Designs and it includes the cover page plus 12 monthly gratitude logs. Each month is listed at the top of the page and there is enough room to write two things every day that you’re grateful for.  The month of April is shown below.

Thanks Keri, it is very cool to look back on the month and see what I was grateful for every day. I’m really looking forward to reflecting on the year.
You did a great job with the writing. It’s very pretty. I try to write 3 things down that I am grateful for every day as well. Today – I’m grateful that I finally found my keys after 2 weeks of having misplaced them. Where were they? Buried in the weeds next to our sandbox!

Awe, that’s so sweet Tanya! I was changing back and forth between dailies and a weekly layout but I think I’ve finally figured out what works best and I’ve been sticking with it pretty good lately. My best advice it to keep trying different things until you find what works for you. Thanks for the pin!
