How to Print on A5 Paper

How to print on A5 paper and start using half-size printables | the Krafty Owl

There are hundreds of beautiful half-size printables out there but it can be very intimidating to print on A5 paper. I’m here to let you know that it’s really super easy and how you can start using all of those fabulous printables!

Half-size, or A5 paper measures 5.5” x 8.5.”  To create this size, simply cut a standard letter (8.5” x 11”) sized piece of paper in half. You can also purchase half-size sheets at some office supply stores and online retailers.

To print on the half sheets, load the paper into your printer tray and open the printable PDF. Click on print settings then change the paper size to A5 (5.5” x 8.5”) Once these settings are correct, you can print!

Double-Sided Printing

Most printers have duplex (front and back) printing capabilities and will walk you through the printing process. If you aren’t sure if your printer has this capability, please consult the manual or search the manufacturer’s website.

If your printer does not have duplex printing capabilities, you can print the odd pages first, then reinsert your paper and print the even pages after. Note that you may have to reverse the order of the pages depending on your printer and that the cover page must be printed for everything to line up correctly.

I recommend printing a few test pages before printing the entire planner.
